A Florida boy who faces more than 100 charges involving child pornography possessed at least one image of himself molesting a child, investigators said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said they are worried that there could be other victims of 16-year-old Jared Kyle Henry, according to The Ledger. Henry is being charged as an adult.
The teen, who attended Plant City High School, was booked in the Hillsborough County Jail Sunday on nine counts of promotion of a sexual performance by a child, four counts of lewd and lascivious molestation, and a staggering 93 counts of possession of child porn.
Homeland Security and local law enforcement were first tipped off by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who found Henry allegedly sharing the images online.
On Oct. 1, authorities executed a search warrant and culled through numerous images of child pornography that Henry allegedly had, according to WFLA. While investigating the photos, the FDLE said they discovered that Henry had molested at least one child, who appeared in numerous images.
Students at the suspect's school are reeling from the news.
"I never thought that a 16-year-old would be doing that," student Korey Jackson told WTSP.
Henry is currently being held on an $802,000 bail. The FDLE has asked that anyone with any information involving other potential victims call Special Agent Michael Miller at 800-226-1140.
