A Florida man is facing charges of lewd and lascivious behavior after police said he urinated outside of a children's party, tried to get kids into his home and then masturbated at the end of his driveway.
Robert Seery, 39, was arrested Saturday after the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office received a report about a man running down the driveway of a home with his pants around his ankles and his shirt held up, WTSP reports.
The caller later told police he was at the party when he saw Seery urinating near a bush.
Some of the children at the party said they were helping Seery find his stray dog and he tried to get them inside his house to say thank you. The kids also told police they saw Seery with his pants down.
One witness said she saw Seery facing kids with his pants down to his ankles, and that Seery made eye contact with her as he pulled up his trousers, according to First Coast News.
The suspect reportedly admitted to touching himself, with full knowledge that he could be seen by children, but denied trying to lure any kids into his home, according to ActionNewsJax.com.
Seery said he urinated in the bush because he had to go while walking to the end of the driveway to get his dog.
The suspect also told police he had consumed 18 beers and was a victim of sexual abuse.
Seery remains in custody at St. John's County Inmate Facility on $30,000 bail.
The dog is being taken care of by a friend, First Coast News reports.
