The flourless chocolate cake was created not for the gluten-free diet, but for chocolate lovers all around. The thing about a flourless chocolate cake recipe is that it's easily one of the best chocolate cakes out there thanks to the fact that there's no flour. When you take flour out of the equation, you get a much denser and richer result -- one that's more concerned more with chocolate flavor than cake texture (and that's a very good thing).

The flourless chocolate cake recipe is not necessarily easier than a regular chocolate cake, you still have to deal with egg whites. But, if you haven't mastered egg whites before, this cake is the perfect motivation to do it now.
