Former "Hills" star Doug Reinhardt is engaged to his California high school sweetheart and reality show co-star.
Reinhardt and Allie Lutz announced they are engaged to be married with a Twitter post and an Instagram shot of the bride-to-be's huge diamond ring, Us Weekly reported.
On Sunday, Lutz posted the engagement photo to her Instagram with the caption, "Cat's out of the bag... ❤ #engaged #bestfriend #highschoolsweetheart."

Reinhardt reportedly asked Lutz to marry him while the two vacationed in Anguilla, according to RumorFix.
Lutz is a 26-year-old University of Southern California graduate, according to Us Weekly. Lutz was featured on a few episodes of the last season of "The Hills," according to TooFab. She appeared as one of Kristin Cavallari's old high school rivals.
Before his engagement, the former "Hills" star and Baltimore Orioles player dated a bevy of young Hollywood beauties. He has been romantically involved with Lauren Conrad, Amanda Bynes, Paris Hilton, actress Cassie Scerbo and former Miss USA Rima Fakih.
Back in 2009, Reinhardt and Hilton were pretty serious. "He's going to be my husband," the hotel heiress told E! News. "I'm really in love and really happy." The two broke up the following year.
