Fox has picked up four new comedies for the 2013-2014 season: "Enlisted" from Kevin Biegel, starring Geoff Stults; "Brooklyn Nine Nine" starring Andy Samberg; "Surviving Jack" starring Chris Meloni; and "Us & Them" starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel. They join previously announced "Dads" from Seth MacFarlane, headlined by Giovanni Ribisi and Seth Green.

"Enlisted," from "Cougar Town's" Biegel, is described as an "irreverent and heartfelt military-set single-camera family comedy ... that follows three brothers getting to know each other again on a small Florida Army base and the group of misfits who surround them." The project also stars Chris Lowell and Parker Young as Stults' brothers.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" hails from "Parks and Recreation" masterminds Dan Goor and Michael Schur, starring Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher. The single-camera ensemble comedy focuses on what happens when a detective who doesn’t take anything seriously gets a new “by-the-book” boss who wants him to grow up and respect the badge.

"Us & Them" is based on the British comedy "Gavin and Stacey," starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel as a young couple whose path to happily-ever-after is complicated by the screwed-up circus of people closest to them. The original series was created by James Corden and Ruth Jones who serve as executive producers along with David J. Rosen who wrote and adapted the single-camera US pilot.

Christopher Meloni's pilot has the working title of "Surviving Jack," a single-camera ensemble piece based on Justin Halpern’s semi-autobiographical book, “I Suck at Girls," which was the project's original title. Meloni stars as a man becoming a dad, as his son is becoming a man, in a time before “coming of age” was something you could Google. "S--- My Dad Says" executive producers Halpern and Patrick Schumacker created and wrote the pilot, which also counts "Cougar Town's" Bill Lawrence as an executive producer.

Seth MacFarlane's previously ordered "Dads" is a multicamera comedy from MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, the creative team behind "Ted." Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi star as two successful guys –- and childhood best friends –- whose lives get turned upside down when their pain-in-the-neck patriarchs (Martin Mull and Peter Riegert) move in with them.

Earlier on Wednesday, Fox ordered four drama pilots to series: "Rake," starring Greg Kinnear; "Sleepy Hollow" from "Fringe" executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci; the J.J. Abrams-produced "Almost Human"; and "Gang Related," with "Lost" alum Terry O'Quinn.
