Fox News Cruises To Ratings Victory On Tea Party Primary Night

Tuesday night was a big night for the Tea Party, and it was a big night for Fox News.

The network cruised to victory Tuesday night in the coverage of the primaries in Delaware, New York, New Hampshire and elsewhere that saw Tea Party candidates rise to victory over the GOP establishment.

Fox News averaged 2.484 million total viewers in primetime Tuesday night, easily outdrawing MSNBC (912,000) and CNN (710,000).

In the A25-54 demo, Fox News averaged 594,000 viewers in primetime, while MSNBC averaged 253,000 and CNN averaged 200,000.
