What do the Sierra Club, Communist China, and now Fox News have in common? They all recognize the threat of global warming, and are discussing solutions to the problem.

When Fox News called me for an interview for their new report on Global Warming, I’ll admit I thought it was a prank call. But they were serious and hauled me over to the Jefferson Memorial on a blazing hot summer day for the taping. The resulting show, “The Heat is On: The Case for Global Warming” reports about the threat of global warming, the solutions that exist to solve the problem (and how few of these solutions are being adopted).

The good news is that there are plenty of things we can do to cut the heat trapping pollution that causes global warming like putting energy efficient lights and air conditioners in our homes and offices, adopting solar and wind power in our communities, and buying cleaner cars, like hybrids, which slash the pollution of regular cars. The bad news is that our leaders in Congress and the White House are not taking the issue as seriously as Fox News is.

To learn more about global warming, and to find out how you help stop it, go to the Sierra Club’s Global Warming website – www.toowarm.org. The show premieres this Sunday Nov. 13 at 8pm on Fox News. Who says “it’s not easy being green?”
