This Sunday night, global warming gets the spotlight from Fox News Channel when it presents "The Heat Is On: The Case of Global Warming." As the producers researched the show, as they traveled across the country and the world, the facts spoke for themselves -- global warming is here now.

Bobby Kennedy, esteemed scientist Michael Oppenheimer, myself and many others were involved in this historic and important news special.

Some have expressed surprise about Fox News' willingness to listen to our point of view and explore in depth the issue, but if anything should be above politics, surely the health of the planet and its people tops that list.

Last night I watched a screening of the special and I was overcome with a sense of gratitude for the 26,000 miles the producers logged covering the impacts and causes of global warming. The results can be seen this Sunday night at 8 p.m.
