National Front candidate Marine Le Pen lost the French presidential election to her centrist opponent Emmanuel Macron, but the far-right party captured roughly 33 percent of the vote -- the largest share any National Front candidate has ever secured in a presidential contest. Le Pen's party will have another opportunity make political gains during Parliamentary elections in June.
