President Frank Underwood Launches Reelection Bid During GOP Debate

The fourth season of “House of Cards” will debut on Netflix on March 4.

As Republican presidential candidates argued about foreign policy, terrorism, immigration and, of course, the horrors of a Hillary Clinton administration, another politician was sneakily making his move -- and he wasn't even on stage.

“America, I’m only getting started,” announced President Frank Underwood in a fake, but cleverly timed, campaign ad for his reelection bid. The parody ad, which promotes the launch date of the fourth season of Netflix’s “House of Cards,” was released with the hashtag #FU2016 during Tuesday night’s GOP debate.

In the ad, Underwood also revealed the address for his faux, but rather convincing, campaign website, FU2016.com.

On the site, fans can learn more about the fictional politician's campaign and create personalized “FU” cards to share on social media. There's even a media kit ready for download.
