Where To Score Freebies On National Coffee Day

Free coffee = a happy day.

If the combination of the words "free" and "coffee" don't wake you up, then you're in real need of this list.

On Tuesday, coffee chains around the country are pouring free cups of joe and serving up other superior deals (donuts!) to celebrate National Coffee Day. You could probably use it: 37 percent of American workers say they can't get dressed for work before having a cup of coffee, according to a recent survey conducted by Staples.

We say just put on some pants (pajamas are also acceptable) and grab yourself a complimentary cup from one of the coffee shops below.

Get a free medium cup of Dunkin' Donuts hot or iced Rainforest Alliance Certified Dark Roast Coffee.

Tip: There's a limit of one free coffee per guest, but if you live in a city, chances are you can find another Dunkin' nearby for a second fix. Seek those java jitters!

A free small coffee and glazed donut shall be yours, on the house!

Tip: We repeat, free glazed donut!

CF is treating you to a free cup of coffee, any size, iced or hot.

Tip: You'll have to text the word FREECOFFEEE to 33733 to get a mobile coupon for your java a gratis. Starting October 9, Cumberland Farms is running a Free Coffee Fridays promotion, so next month doesn't have to be so bad, either.

You'll get a free small cup of Peet's Major Dickason blend with any purchase of a food item.

Tip: Get the oatmeal; it'll keep you full 'til lunch.

Get yourself a free Cold Brewsta on National Coffee Day.

Tip: For all of September, you can get a 12 ounce coffee for $1. You have a couple of days left to rock the deal.

The donut shop will serve you a complimentary 12-ounce cup of joe.

Tip: Go early -- you can score a free mug while supplies last.

Pay $1 for a coffee of any size.

Tip: Get a large?
