There's no denying that the French know what they're doing when it comes to dessert. Between their fine chocolates and their mastery of flaky and buttery pastry dough, you can trust that you're in good, sweet hands when it comes to French desserts. But since we can't all take a trip to France, or have access to a French bakery, we need to make our own French dessert recipes at home.
We know you think this is going to be impossibly hard, but we promise it's not. (We would never encourage you to make stressful recipes.) The trick to making French desserts is starting off with good ingredients -- especially butter -- and then you can't go wrong.
