Frida Giannini Gives Birth To Baby Girl, Names Her Greta

Frida Giannini Gives Birth To A Baby Girl!

It's a girl!

Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, gave birth to a little bambina named Greta on Saturday. This is the first child for the designer and partner Patrizio di Marco, president and CEO of Gucci. According to a statement, "both mother and baby are doing well."

Of course, Giannini hadn't let up in the work department during her pregnancy. We last saw the 40-year-old taking a very pregnant bow at Gucci's fall/winter 2013 show just last month, so we imagine she'll throw herself right back into her next collection. Hey, the Italian fashion house is definitely an important part of her life -- she met di Marco there!

So now that the new mom's finally given birth, does this mean she'll have time to design some baby clothes for Greta? We're imagining the tiniest little leather Gucci pants ever. Watch your back, Skylar Berman!

Welcome to the world, baby Greta!
