Many know Mark Imhof as Mark "The Dog Guy" because of his passion for helping and grooming shelter dogs. Mark volunteers as a groomer at the Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC).

The ACC is one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the country, taking in more than 35,000 animals each year. They help all types of animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, birds, and farm animals) with all types of needs (homeless, abandoned, injured or sick). ACC is the only 501(c)(3) nonprofit in NYC with this unique responsibility.

Mark has helped hundreds of animals get out of shelters and into forever homes. He is changing the lives of these animals by providing them with the chance to look and feel better and most importantly find a forever home. "My heart is filled with such joy doing this work!"
