The "Frozen" cast couldn't hold it back anymore, so they united on Sunday (Feb. 9) for a live performance of the beloved Disney movie's songs. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad -- who emceed the event -- roared through the soundtrack highlights for a handful of film-industry insiders.

Jonathan Groff was absent due to illness, but the remaining stars belted out "Love is an Open Door," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and "In Summer," Variety reports. Menzel closed out the event with the showstopper "Let It Go." On hand to enjoy the cast's live renditions were Disney-Pixar CCO John Lasseter, "Frozen" co-directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who are Oscar nominees for writing "Let It Go."

With Oscar voting opening this Friday (Feb. 14), the "Frozen" event could help bolster the movie's award odds. It's already widely considered a frontrunner for Best Original Song ("Let It Go") and Best Animated Feature. Watch a compilation of highlights from the performances below.
