Fuji just released what could be a very exciting camera and the perfect upgrade to your iphone! Sporting a large 24MP APS-C Sensor which has been newly designed for even better performance in low light. Continuous shooting speeds are 6fps, video can be recorded in 1080p Full HD at up to 60fps, and the touchscreen LCD can tilt 180 degrees up for selfie shooting.
The camera keeps a similar design style Fuji has been using and I am perfectly fine with that. The camera is still functional, looks great, and has a smaller size than most other APS-C cameras. A 77 Point contrast autofocus system with a new single point mode with 49 areas for more precise autofocusing. I would have preferred a hybrid system with both contrast and phase detection AF points like the more expensive competition from the Sony A6300 so we will have to see how well Fuji can maintain focus on moving subjects. Built in Wifi and the historic Fuji Film Simulation modes are also onboard. The camera will begin shipping October 2nd at a price of $599 w/ the 16-50mm kit lens which seems like a decent price for great quality camera.
