A 'Full House' Reboot Might Be Happening, And The Original Cast Is On Board

'Full House' Might Be Coming Back

Have mercy!

A "Full House" reboot could be in the works, and most of the cast is on board, reports TV Guide.

Uncle Jesse, aka John Stamos, executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin are all involved in bringing a new version of "Full House" to life with Warner Bros. TV. Additionally, original cast members such as Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are said to be interested in coming back, and Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are reportedly interested as well.

"Full House" originally ran from 1987 to 1995. Despite consistently performing well for ABC, the show was eventually ended due to increasing costs. Reruns of the series continue to get great ratings on Nick at Nite, which may be a big reason a revival could happen.

There is no word yet if Lori Loughlin or Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are involved, but E! News recently asked Loughlin her thoughts on a "Full House" movie or reboot, and her response wasn't promising. Though the actress was into the idea if there was a good script, she added, "Sometimes I think that it's better off to leave those TV shows as they were and not do reunion shows."
