For some divorcées, one of the upsides of a split is the freedom to make fun of their exes.
Stand-up comedian Jennifer Eolin did just that in a video she posted online late last month.
"We were married for three years and it got to the point where one thing just was the straw in the camel's back, and that thing was toenails," she says in the video above. "Not the ones attached to his feet."
Eolin told the audience that she found her then-husband's toenails "not in a garbage can, not on the floor in the bathroom," but hidden behind the couch. And once she realized how they got there, she just couldn't get over it.
"There is just really not enough fire and bleach and Activia to make you feel clean after you realize what your husband's been putting in his mouth for three years and spitting behind the couch," she said. "I'm trying not to cry because it's true."
Eolin currently lives and performs standup in New York City, and is an executive producer and star of the webseries The Tutorialist . She got her start in comedy as a writers' assistant for the last two seasons of Seinfeld.
