The 2012 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards took place last night in New York City.
Solange Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Tyra Banks and Pharell Williams were on hand to celebrate an impressive list of honorees, which included Olympians Gabby Douglas and Allyson Felix.
The two ladies have clearly proven themselves as world class athletes and stellar role models--and now they are quickly becoming style stars. Since wrapping up this year's Summer Olympics with plenty of gold medals in tow, Gabby and Allyson have been delivering some amazing fashion moments.
Gabby recently got glam for the cover of ESSENCE magazine and she showed off her stylish side once again last night while being honored by Glamour. The 16-year-old gymnast wore a white and cream Tibi dress with ruffle-like appliques.
Meanwhile Allyson, who has been spotted at Fashion Week in both New York City and London, opted for a more dramatic look. With the help of stylist Micah McDonald, Allyson donned a black, mermaid style gown by Vera Wang, Van Cleef jewels and a bold red lip.
The 26-year-old looked so good that Glamour.com even named her as their best-dressed attendee of the night. Not too shabby for a newbie to the style spotlight.
