Gaby Hoffmann Is Pregnant With First Child

Like her character Caroline on "Girls," Gaby Hoffmann is pregnant with her first child.

The 32-year-old actress, who most recently guest starred on the HBO series, is expecting her first child with cinematographer boyfriend Chris Dapkins. Hoffmann walked the red carpet for her new film "Obvious Child" on Wednesday, two days before her rep confirmed her pregnancy to People. "Everybody is happy and healthy,” the rep said.

Hoffmann is also known for her childhood roles in "Sleepless In Seattle" and "Now and Then," as well as her recent roles in the movie "Crystal Fairy" and the upcoming Amazon Original series "Transparent." On "Girls" she plays Adam's unstable sister Caroline, who reveals at the end of Season 4 that she's having a baby with Hannah's neighbor Laird. In her new comedy "Obvious Child," Hoffmann plays the feminist roommate of Jenny Slate's Brooklyn comedian.
