'Game Change' Faces Sarah Palin's Criticism: Director Jay Roach Responds (VIDEO)

'Game Change' Director Fires Back

The 2008 presidential election is coming back in HBO's "Game Change" this week.

Jay Roach, the director of the TV movie starring Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, stopped by "CBS This Morning" (weekdays, 7 a.m. EST on CBS), to discuss the project and take on its most famous critic: Sarah Palin.

"She's come out and said that it's not accurate," Roach told "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King and Charlie Rose. "She uses the word 'fiction.'" King said.

Moore stars as Palin opposite Ed Harris as John McCain. "Game Change," written by Danny Strong, is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann that chronicled Palin's selection to be McCain's running mate.

"I think it's a dramatization, but I think it's really compelling and it raises all of the questions I think need to be raised about our political system," Roach said.

"Game Change" premieres on Sat., March 10 at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
