Eager Game of Thrones fans know how exhilarating the opening strains of the nearly two-minute long theme song of the risqué fantasy show can be when you're been waiting all week to watch the show. But we guarantee you've never heard the dramatic opener like this before.
This electrifying rendition comes to us courtesy of Break of Reality, an instrumental rock band that blows any other version of the GoT tune clear out of the (Narrow Sea) water. Watch for yourself in the video above.
"The theme song already features cello, so It just made sense to do our own 'cello rock' version," Ivan Trevino, the group's percussionist, told The Huffington Post in an email. Founding member Patrick Laird did the arrangement, which has already received over 500K views on YouTube.
In other news, it turns out the composer of the series' original ballad, Ramin Djawadi, is a total babe. Watch out, Jon Snow...
"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
