Garrard McClendon Breaks Silence: "The Vision Of My Parents Being Murdered Is Unbelievable' (VIDEO)

CLTV host Garrard McClendon has broken his public silence following the murder of his parents earlier this week.

"The vision of my parents being murdered is unbelievable," McClendon said in an interview on WGN. "I can't get that vision out of my head."

Milton McClendon, 78, and Ruby McClendon, 76, were found shot to death Monday afternoon in a Cook County forest preserve near Calumet City. Police discovered the couple's Cadillac parked on the Dan Ryan Expressway Wednesday and are reportedly closing in on two men who were seen trying to sell property stolen from the victims' Hammond, Indiana home.

In a video posted to Facebook Thursday, McClendon's brother, Theodore, said "the thug mentality is what killed my parents."

McClendon told WGN that he has "forgiven the perpetrators. Do I want them caught? Of course. . .But I can't live a productive life just in constant pain. . .Yes, I want justice served."
