Gay Rights Advocates Are 'Jack-Booted, Homo-Fascist Thugs,' According To Pundit

The American Family Association's Bryan Fischer chimed in on Arizona's controversial anti-gay bill this week, once again comparing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights advocates to Nazis in a broadcast.

As Right Wing Watch first reported, Fischer told his listeners, "If homosexual activists actually believed in tolerance ... they would respect the convictions of Christian businessmen."

He then added, "I think they are jack-booted homo-fascist thugs ... who want to use the tyrannical and totalitarian power of the state to send men of faith to jail."

It isn't the first time that LGBT rights advocates have been compared to the Nazi party. Last week, a conservative Indiana pastor blasted activists as a "gay-stapo" that is ultimately seeking the destruction of marriage, which he called "the masterpiece of God's handiwork" in an Op-Ed for Liberty Counsel attorney Matt Barber's website Barbwire.

Pastor Jeff Allen took the Nazi metaphor even further, noting, "Many [LGBT rights advocates] really do console themselves with fantasies of their own Kristallnacht, in which Christians are euphemistically 'taken out of the way' as part of the 'gay'-stapo’s 'final solution' to the 'Christian problem,'" as Right Wing Watch first reported.

Fischer himself has also made similar references in the past, referring to LGBT rights advocates as "Nazi stormtroopers" who are "totalitarian and repressive."

He added, "Just as the homosexual stormtroopers for Hitler were to exterminate and eliminate the opposition and beat them into silence, that's what homosexual activists want to do today."
