New Study Reveals Surprising Facts About Gay Parents

Results from the world's largest study on gay parents was recently released. The study found that children brought up by same-sex couples are healthier and get along better with their families.

HuffPost Live recently discussed the groundbreaking news with Emily McGowan, Director of Public Policy of the Family Equality Council, Gay Parent Magazine Assistant Editor Flavia Francesquini, Mommy Man: Adventures of a Gay Super Dad blogger Jerry Mahoney and Rachel Braccini, founder of the I'm OUTstanding campaign.

Braccini, a product of a same-sex family, said that she finds the study interesting and agrees with the findings.

All of the guests said that they weren't surprised by the study.
