House hunters itching for a fixer-upper and a historic Frank Lloyd Wright design are in luck: The price on a South Side Chicago home designed by the master recently tumbled $110,000.
According to Estately, the five bedroom home built in 1892 currently stands on the market for $1.288 million in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood.

With an unfinished basement and no recent rehabs on record, a restoration project beckons the next buyer. With three bathrooms, a fireplace, skylights and plenty of interesting flourishes like stained glass windows and swooping archways, the home isn't without creature comforts.
Built for the businessman George Blossom in the 1890s, the home was one of the "bootleg" houses the architect completed while still employed by the firm Adler & Sullivan, according to Design Slinger.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Tour blog calls the home "unlike any other of Frank Lloyd Wright's designs." The Euro-influenced house has been labeled everything from Dutch Colonial to Neoclassical, Palladian to Prairie.
In an unusual turn, the more Victorian-style home next door — the Warren McArthur House — was also designed by Wright. Even stranger: the McArthur House is also on the market and it too had a large price drop recently.
Curbed Chicago notes the side-by-side homes have identical square footage of 5,000 and each also comes with a coach house.
