George W. Bush gave a special shout-out to the media at the dedication of his new library in Dallas on Thursday.

He, along with the four other living presidents, spoke at the opening of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. In his remarks on Thursday, Bush thanked his wife Laura and daughters Laura and Jenna for their support. He made special mention of his new role as grandfather to his granddaughter Mila, saying, "It was a joy, I can't tell you what a joy it was to hold little Mila. And I am really happy that Mila's mother and father, Jenna and Henry, could make it here today."

He continued, joking, "If you don't have anything to do in the morning, tune in to the 'Today' show. Jenna is a correspondent, thereby continuing the warm relations the Bush family has with the press."

Jenna Bush Hager joined "Today" as a correspondent in 2009. The NBC News morning show was where she announced last year that she was pregnant with her first child, and shared news of the birth of her daughter Mila.

Bush has been doing an extensive media tour for the opening of the library. He recently sat down with ABC News' Diane Sawyer and NBC News' Matt Lauer, among other interviewers.
