Former President George H.W. Bush is taking his duties of tossing the coin at this Sunday’s Super Bowl very seriously, according to his granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager.

The “Today” show correspondent jokingly said her grandfather’s spokesperson told her, “He’s in isolation, he’s gearing up. He’s recovering as much as he possibly can so that he’s ready on Sunday.”

Bush, 92, was released from Houston Methodist Hospital on Monday after being treated for pneumonia.

On Wednesday, the 41st president tweeted that he was fired up for Sunday’s game with a GIF of a commemorative coin spinning.

“People say: Oh, isn’t he too sick?” Hager said. “And I say no... he’ll be there.”
