Flash Mob Surprises, Thrills George H.W. Bush At Texas A&M University

H.W. Thrilled By Students' Flash Mob At His Namesake

Former President George H.W. Bush's mouth literally dropped open when Texas A&M students surprised the 88-year-old with a flash mob line dance to country duo Brooks & Dunn's "Boot Scootin' Boogie."

He was visiting the Bush School of Government and Public Service in College Station, Texas. US News & World Report ranks it 33rd in the nation among public service graduate programs.

Watch Bush's granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager explain the YouTube dance phenomenon, and the former leader of the free world react to the students' tribute. CBS News reports that the students rehearsed the dance three times before Bush's visit and even had a local band cover the song for the event's purposes. Talking Points Memo adds that Bush visited the school March 1, but the school withheld the video from public viewing until Tuesday.
