George H.W. Bush Moved Out Of ICU After Health Improved

The former president has been treated for more than a week for pneumonia.

HOUSTON, Jan 23 (Reuters) - The health of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, 92, is improving and he has been moved out of the intensive care unit of a Houston hospital where he has been treated for more than a week for pneumonia, doctors said on Monday.

Former first lady Barbara Bush, 91, has been discharged from the same hospital after being treated for bronchitis, doctors at Houston Methodist Hospital told a news conference. (Reporting by Jon Herskovitz; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
