Former President George H.W. Bush made his first public outing last weekend after being hospitalized for nearly two months.
NBC News' Janet Shamlian tweeted the photo of the former president, who went out to dinner in Houston on Saturday night.
Bush was admitted to Houston's Methodist Hospital on November 23 and was treated for a persistent bronchitis-related cough. In December, he was transferred to the hospital's intensive care unit when doctors had trouble getting a fever under control. He was released from the hospital on January 14.
