Singer George Jones died on Friday at the age of 81, leaving behind not only memories of "the greatest voice in country music" in his wake, but also a magnificent Tennessee mansion that remains for sale on the market.
The equestrian estate located in Franklin, just outside the country music capital of Nashville, is currently available for an even $8 million. That's a steal, considering that Realtor.com reported last June that the house originally went on the market for $10 million.
The 9,704-square-foot abode is sitting on 80 sprawling acres and was built in 1993 towards the end of Jones' career, which spanned over four decades. The baritone, who was known to be quite the partier, made sure his four-bedroom residence had amenities like a beauty salon and parking for 11 cars in addition to a 9-stall stable, two guest residences and two lakes.
