George Michael's 'I Want Your Sex' Turns 25 (VIDEO)

One of George Michael's biggest -- and most controversial -- hits has reached a quarter-century milestone: "I Want Your Sex," the first single off his Grammy Award-winning "Faith" album, made its debut on the Billboard charts exactly 25 years ago today.

The song's racy-for-its-time lyrics and steamy video (featuring Michael's girlfriend at the time, Kathy Jeung) ensured its near-instant radio and chart success. "I swear I won't tease you, won't tell you no lies," the former Wham! frontman croons to what has been described as a "white funk" pop beat. "I don't need no Bible, just look in my eyes."

While it may seem undeniably tame by today's standards, "I Want Your Sex" stands the test of time, even if Michael's '80s-style duds and perceived heterosexuality (he's now dating Fadi Fawaz, after a much-publicized Beverly Hills men's room exposure outed him in 1998) did not.
