Dem Gets Slow Clap With Impassioned Speech

Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.) earned a slow clap from his colleagues during an impassioned speech against the Student Success Act, a bill passed by the House Friday.

When Miller was told that his time to speak against the bill had run out, he shouted, “No! You know who’s running out of time? Children are running out of time in this nation."
