George R.R. Martin's Zombie Cameo Has A 'Walking Dead' Connection

"Game of Thrones" and "Walking Dead" have finally combined!

All men must die, but that doesn't mean they stay dead.

George R.R. Martin is appearing as a zombie on the new episode of "Z Nation," so for everyone upset because he killed off your favorite "Game of Thrones" character, here's your payback.

The scene finds Martin signing his books even after death, but what you might not know is that there's an Easter egg for another certain zombie show in it, too, and it might have "Walking Dead" fans rioting.

Apparently, a "dirty guy with a crossbow" tried to help save Martin from his zombie fate, which "Walking Dead" fans might notice sounds a lot like everyone's favorite crossbow-weilding, un-showered character Daryl Dixon. Unfortunately, however, he didn't make it. He got eaten by zombies.

Don't get too upset, though. Yeah, Dixon might've died, but "Game of Thrones" and "Walking Dead" have officially been connected. Watch out, Rick Grimes. (White) Walkers are on the way.

"Z Nation" airs Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET on Syfy.
