George Takei Destroyed Trump On Twitter During The Debate

"These are the last desperate throes of a campaign in shambles. Denial, deflection, defeat."

George Takei, America’s beloved national treasure, has not been shy about his disgust for Donald Trump.

In fact, the 79-year-old actor and activist has spent most of the election year serving up effortless clap backs to the Republican presidential nominee, calling out everything including Trump’s anti-Muslim and anti-refugee rhetoric, his running mate, and his rant on the “rigged election.”

But Takei appeared to finally reach a boiling point during Wednesday night’s final presidential debate. He did not hold back as he tweeted before, during and after the showdown.

It all started with a few slices of pre-game insults, served with a side of Sarah Palin and a generous order of tacos.

As soon as the debate commenced, it was clear that no one ― not the moderator nor the audience ― was safe from his Twitter feed.

Takei proceeded to tear apart Trump’s own words ― dragging him for his Supreme Court picks, his use of the word “hombres,” and his spot-on impression of Alec Baldwin as Trump.

No topic appeared to be off-limits for Takei. In back-to-back tweets, he called Trump “a cancer on our democracy” and “your uninformed, drunk relative who never, ever shuts up.”

Takei cut even deeper when be dragged Trump’s beloved buildings and casinos into his wrath.

When it comes to taking down Trump, Takei has proved that he is the master ― dare we say Sulu ― of his craft.

Below, experience more of the best of Takei’s live-tweets as they unfolded on his feed. And don’t forget to bring a jacket ― it’s about to get very cold.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
