Whether they think he got away with murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin or that he was just a brave neighborhood watch volunteer ?standing his ground,? many Americans can?t seem to get enough of George Zimmerman. George Zimmerman will not face any charges related to an altercation with his estranged wife.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Lake Mary, Fla. police "could not salvage" video that allegedly showed footage of the altercation, which took place Sept. 9.

Security camera footage shows Zimmerman destroying the iPad.

Without that footage, police said they didn't have enough evidence to pursue domestic violence or other charges.

“That iPad is in half a dozen pieces at this point,” Lake Mary Officer Zach Hudson told the Huffington Post days after the incident.

Police sent the remains of the device to a lab, but technicians were unable to extract the video Shellie Zimmerman recorded.

The couple separated in August, a month after Zimmerman was found not guilty of any crime in the killing of Trayvon Martin in July.
