Georgia Tech's A Cappella Rendition Of 'Shake It Off' Will Inspire Your Inner Nerd

College A Cappella Group's 'Shake It Off' Rendition Will Inspire Your Inner Nerd

Georgia Tech students don't care what people say. They're just gonna shake it off.

A group of a cappella performers from the school recently put on an impressive (and lyrically different) version of Taylor Swift's hit "Shake It Off," starring Georgia Tech senior Maggie Bridges, who was also crowned Miss Georgia 2014.

Video of the performance was produced by GT WRECKless, a Georgia Tech organization whose mission is to "show college students how fun safe partying can be and allow them to learn healthier party habits through experience."

The message these Georgia Tech students are sending is simple: They may be stressing over "trying to get those A's," but they're going to do their thing.

"Georgia Tech students are criticized a lot by non-Georgia Tech students and themselves," the video description reads. "We are told that we don't know how to have fun, we study too much, or we're just simply a bunch of nerds. Who cares what people say? As Georgia Tech students, we are going to make a difference in this world. ... Don't change who you are to conform to what other people want from you. Remember who you are because you are awesome. Just shake it off."

Taylor would be proud.
