Georgina Chapman Has Baby Boy: Marchesa Designer Welcomes Second Child

It's A Boy? Glam Designer Gives Birth To A Son

Georgina Chapman is known best for the frilly, bejeweled gowns she designs for bridal and Marchesa, but it looks like menswear might be in her future -- or childrenswear, at least.

Page Six confirms today that Chapman gave birth to a baby boy last Thursday. The son is Chapman's second child with media mogul Harvey Weinstein. The couple's first born is a girl, and Weinstein has three daughters from a previous marriage, so the baby boy should certainly shake things up around the Weinstein-Chapman compound.

A source close to Page Six reports that Weinstein is happy to have one batting for his team. "Although Harvey will always be outranked by women, at least he now has an ally," they said.

Chapman has said that her designs incorporate feminine touches and dramatic silhouettes, resulting in some pretty, girly creations. So the question stands: How will styling a baby boy affect Chapman's glam sensibilities? Will the tot end up wearing tulle- and lace-covered onesies?

Can you spot Chapman's pre-son designs?
