Geraldo Rivera To Eric Bolling: You're Lying About Benghazi Attack (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'THAT'S A LIE!'

Geraldo Rivera and Eric Bolling got into a shouting match when Rivera accused his Fox News colleague of lying about the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

The deadly attack has been a major focus for Fox News, with some hosts suggesting that the White House tried to cover up what really happened. Friday's "Fox and Friends" — which aired graphics that read "Cover-Up of The Cover-Up" and "Secret note showed vulnerable consulate" — was no exception.

Speaking to Rivera, Bolling alleged that the fighting at the compound lasted seven hours and that the United States sent "no help."

“That is an obscene lie,” Rivera charged. “You are a politician looking to make a political point.”

Bolling argued that there were American forces in Tripoli that could have been sent to Benghazi. Rivera said that they were.

"You are misleading the American people because you want to make a political point,” he said to Bolling. “We have never in the history of this republic mounted a raid on the circumstance described here ever."

He went on to say that he spoke to Charles Woods, whose son Tyrone was killed in the attack, and that it broke his heart to hear Woods' charges against the White House.

Rivera exclaimed, "He is being led down a primrose path of misinformation that is making it look as if President Obama went gambling in Las Vegas when he could've been saving people in Benghazi and that's a lie!"
