German Newspaper Warns Of 'Trumpocalypse'

Another paper pleads with U.S. voters not to back the "horror clown."

Newspaper front pages around the world lead with stories about the U.S. presidential election Tuesday morning.

And one publication in Germany published a particularly chilling warning about what would happen if GOP nominee Donald Trump became president instead of his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton:

Die Welt was not alone in its criticism of Trump. NBC News’ Andy Eckardt, who is based in Germany, also shared some other front page covers ― including one that states, “Please Not The Horror Clown.”

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
