Get Your First Look At Ellen Page's Big Queer Trip Around The World

"If you think you live in a part of the world where there aren't gay people, you're wrong."

Today VICELAND, VICE's new TV network, launched the trailer for a new series called "GAYCATION" that's hosted by Academy Award nominee Ellen Page and her best friend Ian Daniel.

Throughout the series, Page and Daniel will travel around the world to discover and engage with the many shades and hues of queerness on a global level. Viewers will be exposed to a wide array of queer people, experiences and stories, in locations as varied as Brazil, Jamaica and The United States.

“The mission of VICELAND is to create a place where we can create content that reflects how we see the world," Creative Director of VICELAND Spike Jonez said in a press release. "Everything on the channel will have a point of view: either our point of view or the point of view of someone who inspires us. That means a willingness to stick out your neck and say ‘this is what I think.’”

Check out the trailer for "GAYCATION" above and stay tuned for the premiere on Wednesday, March 2 at 10 p.m.
