"I want a Jane Austen wedding," American television correspondent and anchor Gigi Stone declared shortly after Ian Woods proposed to her last year. Woods surprised Gigi while on a rowboat in the middle of Lake Joseph in the Catskill Mountains, and this Saturday the storybook romance had its happy ending at the picturesque Wainwright House in Rye, New York, a recreation of the 17th century chateau de Raincheval in France. An intimate group of guests gathered outside and waited with breathless anticipation as the setting July sun glittered across Milton Harbor. Gigi was a vision in strapless Vera Wang. The evening was quintessentially Gigi and Ian: relaxed, warm, and fun-filled. As the bride and groom toasted each other, Gigi's simple acknowledgement, "There was never a moment, through this whole process of planning tonight, that I ever doubted Ian. He is the only man for me," brought tears to many eyes... named after the 1958 film classic Gigi, the Bloomberg beauty's quest for old-fashioned, true love was indeed realized. Jane Austen would have put down her quill and applauded.
