Gilbert Arenas Says He's Training To Make NBA Return (VIDEO)

Agent Zero Making A Comeback?

Gilbert Arenas isn't ready to officially retire from the NBA.

Agent Zero, who hasn't played in a game since May 2012 with the Memphis Grizzlies, told TMZ earlier this week that he's training in hopes to make a return to the league.

"If I don't get picked up now I'll be ready for next season and hopefully I get a shot," Arenas said. "I'm training. It's still up to the teams to pick me up and give me a shot. I'm going to do my part."

While out of the NBA, Arenas has been involved in developing music apps with Zya. Earlier in December, Arenas told Bleacher Report that he's going to attempt to make a comeback after he's finished developing apps.

"Yeah, right now I'm just developing apps," Arenas said. "Next summer, I'm going to train really hard and then try to make a team. I'm going to try to come back."

Arenas, who was once one of the most prolific scorers in the league, played in just 17 games with Memphis in the 2011-12 season.
