When it comes to Rory Gilmore’s heart, are you Team Dean, Team Jess, or Team Logan?
If you’re of sound body and mind, you’re probably Team Jess. Milo Ventimiglia’s moody, brooding Jess is the man of our teenage dreams.
In light of the upcoming “Gilmore Girls” revival on Netflix, it’s even more imperative that we discuss Rory’s dating life. Who will she end up with? Will she go for Round 3 with Dean? Will she marry Logan after all? Will Jess’ book get adapted in a movie that he’ll ask Rory to star in, leading to their reconciliation?!
We’re getting ahead of ourselves.
All that said, one question has never been asked in the midst of all of our wondering about who Rory will choose. We want Rory to be Team Jess, but what if Jess isn’t Team Rory anymore?
Ventimiglia posed the question at the recent Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in Illinois.
“Everyone’s like, ‘I’m Team Jess!’ and I’m like, ‘Cool, that’s great! But do you really think Jess is Team Rory?‘” he asked the crowd.
The audience’s reaction is basically the sound of hearts dropping into stomachs everywhere, to which Ventimiglia responds, “I literally just thought about that. I’ve never thought about that before, and I literally just thought of that.”
