15 Lessons In Fearless Fashion From Ginger Spice

15 Lessons In Fearless Fashion From Ginger Spice, AKA Geri Halliwell

Ginger Spice was one of our heroes growing up, singing loud and proud about female empowerment -- or, as she put it in the Spice Girls movie, "Strength and courage and a Wonderbra!"

She had the wardrobe to match. As one-fifth of the Spice Girls, Ginger Spice, aka Geri Halliwell, was the sassy redhead powerhouse, the one for whom no dress was too short, no neckline too low and no platform too high to conquer. She might not have had Scary in her moniker, but she was undoubtedly the most fearless dresser on that Spice Girls stage. Who else could turn the Union Jack into a dress so short, it required coordinating underwear?

No one but Ginger. In honor of Geri Halliwell's 41st birthday today (Aug. 6), we're happily revisiting the bright, brash, unapologetic style of the most sartorially gutsy Spice Girl. Here are the lessons we've learned.
