The 'Girl Meets World' Trailer Is Here, And It's Everything We Hoped It Would Be (VIDEO)

The 'Girl Meets World' Trailer Is Here, And It Makes Us Feel Really Old

Fans of “Boy Meets World,” rejoice: The reunion of sweethearts Cory and Topanga is coming this summer -- and we have the trailer to prove it.

“Girl Meets World,” the forthcoming sequel to “Boy Meets World,” jumps ahead in the original story by 10 years. Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) are still just as adorable as they were when we left them, but now they're married and living in New York City with their tween daughter, Riley (played by newcomer Rowan Blanchard), and their younger son.

In the 30-second trailer we’re also introduced to Riley’s BFF, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), who is supposedly the troublemaker girl version of Shawn Hunter.

It’s hard to tell yet whether the show will be a hit or a flop, but here's what we can expect when the show debuts on the Disney Channel in a few short months: an overabundance of neon-colored room decorations, a tween girl’s perspective, lots of moral-of-the-story discussions, and the return of everybody’s favorite teacher next door, Mr. Feeny.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that "Boy Meets World" aired on the Disney Channel. "Girl Meets World" is set to premiere on the Disney Channel.
