Watch 'Girls' & 'Veep' For Free!

If you're living the life of one of the characters on HBO's upcoming series "Girls" (premieres Sunday, April 15 at 10:30 p.m. ET), it's quite possible you don't even get HBO.

But the pay cable network has announced that it's giving everyone the opportunity to watch "Girls" and its other new original comedy "Veep" (premiering Sunday, April 22 at 10 p.m. ET) for free.

Beginning the day after their respective premieres on HBO, anyone can watch the "Girls" and "Veep" pilots on HBO.com, YouTube, DailyMotion, TV.com and multiple distributors' Free On Demand platforms. "Girls" will be available from April 16 to May 14 and "Veep," which will also be available for free on iTunes, will be online from April 23 to May 21.

Lena Dunham wrote, directed and stars in "Girls," about a very un-"Sex and the City"-like quartet of twentysomething young women trying to get by in New York City. The show, which boasts Judd Apatow as one of its executive producers, is earning high marks with critics. In her review of "Girls," HuffPost TV's Maureen Ryan said the show is "a fresh and wonderfully realized show that feels like nothing else on TV."

Joining HBO's new lineup is "Veep," which stars "Seinfeld" vet Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Vice President Selina Meyer. The cast also includes "Arrested Development's" Tony Hale as her bodyguard, "My Girl" star Anna Chlumsky all grown up as her chief of staff and former "My Boys" actor Reid Scott as her deputy director of communications at the White House.
