The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is here, and the Internet is abuzz making the world a better place.
For the third consecutive year, Giving Tuesday marks 24 hours of selflessness after shoppers flooded malls on Black Friday and the Internet on Cyber Monday. A campaign started by the United Nations Foundation and the 92nd Street Y, Giving Tuesday has become a rallying cry for nonprofits around the world to garner support and bring awareness to worthwhile causes.
Celebrities and everyday people alike have thrown support behind the campaign on social media sites using the #Unselfie hashtag to promote the organizations near and dear to their hearts. Even President Obama has jumped on board.
