Gladys Knight's Style Evolution: The Legendary Singer Still Knows How To Get Glam (PHOTOS)

Gladys Knight's Glamorous Style

There's no denying Gladys Knight's place as one of music's most iconic singers. Songs like "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Midnight Train To Georgia" remain crowd-pleasers to this day and serve as a reminder of how legendary Gladys' voice truly is-- not to mention the slew of Grammy awards that can also validate that.

From Gladys' time as a Motown hitmaker performing with The Pips to stepping out to pursue a solo career, she did it all with a tremendous amount of success and pizazz. But the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee wasn't just a song bird, she was also a style star!

Like other superstars of her era (see: Diana Ross and Donna Summer), Gladys wasn't a stranger to sexy crop tops and dazzling sequin gowns. And although she doesn't wear as many rhinestones today, she still shines bright.

And speaking of shining, at the ripe age of 67-years-old Gladys joined the cast of "Dancing With The Stars"--proving that she still has some pep in her step. Although she didn't make it to the end, the diva did drop 60 pounds while twirling, dipping and cha-cha-ing her wat back into America's heart. But let's be honest, she never left.

In celebration of Gladys' 69th birthday (May 28th), we are taking a look back at her most eye-catching looks. Check out the slideshow below and let us know your favorite outfit in the comments section.
